Recruiting a Consultant Pediatrician for a multi-specialty hospital in Delhi to evaluate pediatric cases, conduct routine clinical rounds, and guide treatment plans for young patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), managing critically ill infants, children, and adolescents with acute respiratory, cardiovascular, or multi-organ failure
  • Perform advanced life support procedures including endotracheal intubation, central venous line placement, arterial line monitoring, and chest tube insertions
  • Manage conventional and high-frequency mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation (NIV/HFNC), and hemodynamic stabilization in septic shock
  • Coordinate post-operative critical care for complex pediatric surgical and neurosurgical interventions alongside multidisciplinary medical teams

  • We are seeking a dedicated Consultant Pediatric Intensivist to direct tertiary critical care operations at a leading hospital in Delhi.
  • The role involves managing round-the-clock PICU emergencies, overseeing clinical protocols, and leading resuscitation teams.
  • The ideal practitioner demonstrates quick emergency decision-making, meticulous clinical judgment, and compassionate family counseling skills.
  • Offers active practice supported by advanced PICU monitoring systems, bedside echocardiography/ultrasound, and experienced PICU nursing staff.

Skills Required:

  • Expertise in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), difficult airway management, invasive lines, and critical care bedside procedures
  • Proficiency in managing complex mechanical ventilation modes, fluid resuscitation, inotropic support, and arterial blood gas interpretation
  • Ability to remain composed and decisive under high-stress critical care emergency situations
  • Empathetic communication skills to guide anxious parents regarding critical prognoses and care plans
