We are hiring a Consultant Ophthalmologist for an established, modern eye care center equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical suites in Barnala, Punjab.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead everyday ophthalmic outpatient clinics (OPD), addressing complex refractive errors, glaucoma tracking, and diabetic retinopathy screenings
- Perform independent anterior segment surgeries, with a strong focus on topical micro-incision cataract surgeries (MICS/Phacoemulsification) and premium IOL implantations
- Execute minor ocular interventions including pterygium excision with autografting, chalazion incision and curettage, and medical retina procedures
- Manage acute trauma and ophthalmic emergencies including corneal foreign body removals, chemical injuries, and acute congestive glaucoma
Job Description:
- We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Eye Surgeon to spearhead and scale the ophthalmic services at a highly trusted regional healthcare facility in Barnala.

- The ideal clinician will exhibit independent mastery over modern phaco systems, optimizing visual outcomes and patient satisfaction metrics.

Skills Required:
- Advanced independent surgical competence in modern Phacoemulsification, SICS, and fundamental oculoplastic procedures
- Profound expertise in operating advanced diagnostic machinery such as Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), automated perimetry, and optical biometry
- Adept technical familiarity with YAG laser capsulotomy and peripheral iridotomy procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to seamlessly handle geriatric patients and provide reassuring counsel regarding vision recovery timelines
