Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the clinical outpatient department (OPD) for renal disorders, managing diabetic nephropathy, resistant hypertension, glomerular diseases, and chronic uremic states
  • Provide complete clinical supervision over the hospital’s modern hemodialysis unit, establishing strict water quality control (RO setup) and dialysis adequacy standards
  • Perform critical bedside interventions independently, including ultrasound-guided percutaneous renal biopsies and central venous access insertions (femoral/jugular temporary and tunnelled permcaths)
  • Deliver vital cross-consultations to the critical care unit (ICU) for handling acute kidney injuries (AKI), complex fluid-electrolyte imbalances, and managing continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) tracks
