A clinical position is open for a qualified Anesthetist / Consultant Anesthesiologist to join the surgical team at a multi-specialty hospital in Sribhumi, Assam. The position involves delivering comprehensive perioperative care and managing anesthesia services across varied surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-anesthetic check-ups (PAC) to evaluate patient fitness and establish intraoperative risk management strategies
• Administer inhalation, intravenous, and regional nerve block procedures for elective and emergency surgical operations
• Track invasive arterial blood pressure, end-tidal CO2, depth of anesthesia, and neuromuscular blockade during operations
• Supervise post-anesthesia recovery units, managing analgesia protocols, fluid balance, and early extubation monitoring

Job Description:

• A multi-specialty hospital in Sribhumi is expanding its operative services and seeking a dedicated Anesthesiologist.
• Responsibilities include routine operating room coverage, emergency trauma calls, and critical care consults.
• Collaborates with general surgeons, orthopedists, gynecologists, and OT technical teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Supported by well-equipped surgical suites, multi-para monitors, automated infusion pumps, and central gas systems.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in peripheral nerve blocks, subarachnoid blocks, epidural anesthesia, and endotracheal intubation techniques
• Experience in handling acute hemodynamic instability, anaphylactic reactions, and unexpected surgical bleeding
• Competence in mechanical ventilation parameters and blood gas (ABG) interpretation for ICU support
• Clear interdisciplinary communication skills for coordination with surgical specialists and nursing staff
