Key Responsibilities:

• Perform elective and emergency reconstructive procedures, tissue flap transfers, skin grafting, and microvascular surgeries
• Manage acute burn injuries, post-burn contracture releases, maxillofacial trauma, and complex soft-tissue repairs
• Execute cosmetic procedures and oncological defect reconstructions following major tissue resections
• Direct post-operative wound healing, specialized dressing protocols, and surgical ICU recovery management

Job Description:

• We are seeking a Consultant Plastic Surgeon to lead and expand the reconstructive and cosmetic surgery department at a leading hospital in Durgapur.
• The role encompasses managing acute trauma reconstructive referrals, burn management, and elective cosmetic consultations.
• The ideal practitioner demonstrates fine surgical dexterity, strong clinical judgment, and dedication to patient outcome perfection.

Skills Required:

• High competence in microvascular anastomosis, local/regional/free flap coverage, and hand surgery techniques
• Proficiency in comprehensive burn management, fluid resuscitation, and post-surgical wound care
• Strong aesthetic judgment, precision, and patient-centered treatment planning
• Empathetic communication skills to guide patients through functional recovery and cosmetic outcomes
