Anaesthesia Consultant Position – Sitamarhi, Bihar

We are hiring a Consultant Anesthetist / Anesthesiologist for a well-known multi-specialty hospital in Sitamarhi, Bihar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer general, spinal, epidural, nerve blocks, and local anesthesia across surgical cases, including obstetrics, orthopedics, and general surgery
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations (PAC), review patient medical histories, and formulate tailored intra-operative anesthetic plans
• Monitor intra-operative vitals, manage airway security, ensure patient stability, and respond swiftly to physiological emergencies
• Manage post-anesthesia care units (PACU), oversee pain management protocols, and assist with critical care/ICU airway interventions

Job Description:

• We are seeking a Consultant Anesthetist to lead operative anesthesia services at an established multi-specialty hospital in Sitamarhi.
• The role involves managing a wide spectrum of elective and emergency surgical cases alongside multidisciplinary surgical teams.
• The ideal doctor possesses strong airway management skills, vigilant monitoring capabilities, and quick emergency decision-making skills.
• Offers active clinical practice within a well-equipped OT setup supported by dedicated technician and nursing teams.

Skills Required:

• Expertise in regional techniques (spinal, labor epidural, peripheral nerve blocks) and difficult airway management
• Proficiency in mechanical ventilation, central venous line access, and resuscitation protocols (ACLS/BLS)
• Ability to remain calm, analytical, and fast-acting during intra-operative stability challenges
• Strong communication skills to explain anesthetic risks clearly to patients and coordinate with surgical teams
